Volunteers from the Friends of Broad Ripple Park gathered to pull weeds, rake leaves, and sweep the park pool deck. We made quite a difference in a short amount of time, before rain chased us away, and filled 20-plus bags with debris. Visit the photo gallery:
Again this year, we removed invasive garlic mustard from the 10 Acre Woods!
This aggressive invasive will crowd out the lovely native wildflowers unless we control it, so each year the Friends of Broad Ripple Park pull & remove the plant. As in past years, we got a lot of help from other local organizations.
