Split rail fence project

Our new fence looks great, thanks to Troop 133!

An Eagle Scout candidate from local BSA Troop 133 lead a much-needed project in Broad Ripple Park this past October. He and other volunteers removed the old split rail fence at the Evanston Street park entrance and near the tennis courts, and replaced it with all new fencing.

Not only did the Eagle Scout plan the project and secure the materials under the guidance of an adult mentor, he also encouraged the necessary fundraising. The Friends of Broad Ripple Park both donated and served as the fiscal agent for fundraising

We sooo appreciate the Eagle Scout and all his volunteers!
